Virtual Learning Lab: AI 101 (Three-Part Series)

Starts:  Jul 8, 2025 13:00 (ET)
Ends:  Jul 10, 2025 14:00 (ET)

In this three-part series hosted by the ACC Foundation, the AI 101 series will discuss the following:

  • Part 1: AI Decoded: From Circuits to Ethics - The Lawyer's Technical Guide
    • Step into the future of law and business with a clear introduction to the technology driving the AI revolution. This session will demystify how AI systems work, examine the tools clients and colleagues are already adopting, and address the technical risks inherent in their use.
  • Part 2: Code Meets Counsel: Bridging the AI Divide Between Developers and Attorneys
    • Many AI-focused CLEs emphasize governance frameworks and legal risk mitigation. Fewer explore the technical causes behind these issues. Technical challenges range from bias and hallucinations to security breaches and more. How many attorneys understand why AI systems go wrong? Today's session bridges that gap. We’ll unpack the core technical challenges faced by AI developers and then translate those challenges for attorneys and other non-technical business professionals.
  • Part 3: Regulating the AI Revolution: Navigating Legal Landscapes & AI Governance
    • Explore the rapidly evolving world of AI governance and its global legal implications. This session will examine the geopolitical forces shaping AI development and highlight key differences between nations that prioritize regulation and those that adopt a more hands-off approach - insights critical for strategic legal and business planning.

Note: Each session in the AI 101 series builds on the previous session. ACC recommends attending all three sessions to obtain maximum benefit.
