ANNOUNCEMENTS

Increasing Diversity? Increase Your Visibility

If you or someone you know has created a program or initiative to increase awareness of or commitment to corporate legal diversity, submit a nomination for the Matthew J. Whitehead, II Diversity Award. The award celebrates the life and legacy of a visionary CLO who made diversity a core value of ACC membership, activities, and leadership. Nominations are due June 14.

Pro Bono? Promote It!

If you have or your department has provided pro bono services to the indigent or a charitable non-profit, you can nominate yourself for the Corporate Pro Bono Award. We’ll be recognizing an individual or department for their outstanding achievement. Nominations are due June 14.

Write All About It

As in-house counsel, you’ve had some unique experiences that can help your peers learn to do their jobs better, so tell them about it! Author an ACC Docket feature article to share your insights while adding another career-building bullet point in your qualifications. Find out the whos, whys, and hows on the authoring guidelines page.

[Psst. There’s more over here!]

Beginning with the May issue, the ACC Digital Docket (the online version of the ACC Docket) will include online only content and features. This month, there are four additional feature articles covering a wide range of topics. With the online version, you can also view interview videos, search back issues, search by keywords and more. And don’t forget about the ACC Docket apps for true mobile reading.

Ding, ding, ding went the bell.

The closing bell, that is. Tomorrow, Friday, April 26, ACC President and CEO Veta T. Richardson will be on-hand to help ring the closing bell of the New York Stock Exchange. The closing bell rings at 4:00 PM EST. You can view the event live here: https://nyse.nyx.com/the-bell/todays-bells-live as well as on the major cable news and financial news channels. Enjoy!
